The WORCESTERSHIRE MILITARIA MUSEUM is an independent online museum exhibiting a selection of uniform and accoutrements from the Worcestershire Regiment, the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment and the 2nd Battalion Mercian Regiment, as well as the Queen's Own Worcestershire Hussars and its successors.
All of the regiments focused upon have roots in Worcestershire, their traditional recruiting region. However as times have changed so too has the need of the British army. Like with many other famous regiments, the Worcestershire Regiment has undergone many developments and amalgamations, and now the recruitment catchment spans many other counties.
The aim of the museum is to display original pieces of uniform and related items used by soldiers of these regiments, and where possible to share information about the men that wore them. Whether you are interested in military history, Worcestershire, militaria, the British Army, or are simply visiting the museum for educational or reference purposes, please enjoy your visit.

Located in the central region of England, in the West Midlands. The county is famous for its Worcestershire Sauce, Royal Worcester Porcelain, Mineral Water and Morgan cars, among many other things. It is widely regarded that the birth of the professional army was in the English Civil War, for which the Battle of Worcester played a key role.
